You may think you've never had turmeric before. Ever enjoyed curry, Vietnamese, or Indian food? Then you've enjoyed the colour and flavour of this spice. It's not all about savoury food, however. Turmeric contains a natural anti-inflammatory agent (circumin), and is used in traditional Indian medicine. I combined the powerhouse ingredient with one of my favourite Indian drinks, the Lassi. This healthy drink is easy to make and is a great start to a weekend brunch or workday breakfast.
