Fresh City Farms is not just a meal delivery service, it's an organic farm operating in the heart of our city and as a B Corporation, they use the power of business to solve social problems and help make the world a better place.
I love to cook and I live steps away from St. Lawrence Market. Even so, with my busy schedule I rely on meal kits and grocery delivery to make sure I'm not living on chips and candy. There are alot of great options in our city but I like Fresh City because you can fill your cart with more than just meal kits. Their site is like a virtual organic grocery store full of items from local growers and producers. You can reduce food waste by using meal kits and get only the exact amounts of ingredients you need (no more food spoiling in the fridge!), or stock up on meat and dairy and even baby products and flowers if you want to eliminate your run to the grocery store altogether.
I snacked on Fresh City's meal kits during the lead up the holiday rush and I loved this beet, kale and walnut salad with goat cheese.
