There are a few reasons I wanted to share this cocktail recipe from Collingwood Whisky. I first tried this whisky at a tasting and cocktail class and really loved it. It's one of the smoother whiskies I've tried and has really strong notes of vanilla and caramel. It's uber-local, made in Collingwood with grains sourced just kilometres from their distillery and water from Georgian Bay. This recipe from Collingwood is right up my alley, eschewing sugary soda and syrup for non-processed, healthier ingredients. This is going in my rotation of lakeside cocktails to enjoy at the cottage this summer.
